Sono can manipulate the air and create attacks like shockwaves. She does this by moving at such speed hat it has a threatening force. However, it al depends on the steadiness of Sono, and can be hard to aim depending on this. By concentrating her powers on herself or another, she can make sound travel through the air farther than normal.
